We've met some new friends at the Twenty Valley Winterfest held last month. Vito and Alice, the owners of AVella's Wood Fired Oven were busy cooking up some amazing pizzas topped with fine ingredients including brie with pomegranate seeds, and prosciutto with asparagus. Parked beside the Flat Rock booth at the festival, it didn't take long for us Flat Rockers to do a little taste testing. The quality of their ingredients and the intense heat of their 800 degree stone oven create pizzas of unmatched taste from Niagara.
So here's the good news. This summer, Vito and Alice will be parking their oven on our Green Roof Patio for select weekends between May and September. Check our event calendar regularly or follow us on Twitter @winemakersboots for news of when they will be rolling onto the Roof.
