In the Winemaker's Boots

CouldBeYou

Have you ever dreamed of being a winemaker? To care for the vines, understand the science behind the winery, and experience first hand the magic of life in a vineyard?

If so, then you should join us at Flat Rock for a walk “in the winemaker’s boots”. Whether you have only a few hours, or have the time to really dig deep, our Winemaker Ross Wise and Proprietor Ed Madronich will walk you through what they do, how it’s done and why they do it.

Read about the experience of Gord Stimmell from The Toronto Star, or Michael DiCaro from Spotlight Toronto when they spent a day In the Winemaker's Boots.

WMB Weekend Workshop: Five 2 hour sessions, a great way to test your mettle and see if you have what it takes to be in the Winemaker's boots. These fun yet educational workshops include all the best parts of being a winemaker. From blending your own version of Twisted, to putting FRC Pinot up to the challenge against the competition, to stomping grapes to make wine the old fashioned way.  Full details.

WMB Full-Day Harvest: The Harvest Session will provide you with some real insight into what it takes to be a winemaker. The session (two dates available) includes four key components - vineyard activities, winery work, lab analysis, and tasting/blending sessions. Of course there's a fantastic winemaker's lunch and plenty of wine to be tasted.  Full details.
